I made a video album of photos with audio added and saved as .wmv file. Photos are not clear if played on TV.?

I have used Windows Movie Maker to make the video file. But when the .wmv file was copied on to a CD/DVD and played on TV, the output photos are not clear. Save your movie file as AVI. This will be more clear also will occupy more space...
Check the format for playing computer picture on TV I think they have to be Mpeg2 you may have to redo the CD to play them on TV
