Plz tell how to clear distortion in a recorded audio?

I have a ';.DAT'; Video recording of a ceremony but the audio in the file is distorted and low . Is there any method to clear the distortion in audio. the ceremony file is very important to me. plz tell if anyPlz tell how to clear distortion in a recorded audio?
There are ways to clean up audio distortion, but you're not going to do it on your computer - it takes the equipment in a sophisticated sound studio. The problem was created while making the recording, and that's the sound you have. (You could edit it in an audio editor, but it would take about an hour per minute of recording - if you had experience doing it. You have o edit the wave itself, continuously, and manually remove what's distortion and leave what isn't. So you'd have to know what distortion looks like on the screen, and there's no tutorial that can teach you that.)





Programs can't do it automatically, because what's distortion on one recording is part of the wanted audio in another. (Is that raspy voice the way your uncle talks, or does he have a smooth voice and the audio is distorted? No program can determine that.)Plz tell how to clear distortion in a recorded audio?
